About me
I'm a Guernsey girl originally, but I've lived, worked and studied in a number of different countries around the world as well. I came home for good 2004 and threw myself back into island life.

I'm married to Rollo and we have four children: Tom (11), Zara (8), Theo (6) and Xavier (nearly 2). We're really lucky that our own parents and other family members are all nearby, and are a big part of our life.

My professional background is mainly in the creative industries - film, TV, theatre, radio, video and the written word - predominantly as a producer. Lots of people know me from Specsavers, where I worked for many years in the TV section of the Creative department.
I've always been interested in environmental issues and sustainability, and many of the community organisations or groups I've set up or been involved with have had these themes at their heart. I'm an active member of the school community, organising and running Guernsey's first cycle train, for example, and I also serve on a parish committee.

I'm an active person and I love being outdoors - walking, running or 'plogging' on our beautiful cliff paths, swimming in the sea (though I'm not a winter sea swimmer yet!), or playing touch rugby, in which I've been proud to represent Guernsey on many occasions through the years. I usually get about the island with the help of my trusty pushang, which is my favourite way to travel.
